As I look up my eyes squint at the rays of light coming from the sun. Sometimes I envy the sun, because unlike the sun, I am dark, dull, and fading. It is the sun that always shines, always radiates light and seems so passionate to burn brightly. As I stand at the very end of the cliff, feeling the warmth of the sun, I prepare myself to meet the end.

Then from behind someone speaks. “Darkness is where light comes from.”

As I turn around the stranger is already walking away, yet he leaves something behind. Desire to live.
