Migration by Bradley Samore

My grandmother shows me pictures from her twenties
and I’m shocked at how attractive she was

You were really beautiful I say
and she smiles putting the pictures down

she looks out the window
and I see myself in time

grandchildren seeing me only as old
my handsome past invisible
