Mirrors by Daniela Amaya

don’t look in the mirror
it’s glare will blind
the image you see isn’t all you are
how could it possibly be?
look at a page
write about life, yours
be around happiness
it’s contagious
hold close the things you need
let go of things you don’t
look at yourself in the eyes of loved ones
don’t look into mirrors

Daniela Amaya is a peculiar sixteen-year-old girl from California who loves writing poetry, drawing, and reading. When she can get herself off Tumblr, she loves diving into new worlds and passionate romances. Though high school can be tough, she does pretty well (if she does say so herself).
