‘Nowadays’ is the first song I ever wrote. I was 14 years old. I just picked up my guitar again and taught myself a few chords, but I had no idea what to do with them. I didn’t know any songs, and I didn’t know what songs I could learn with my limited knowledge of chords. So I decided to write one, and this is what came of that.
