Product Review: Taylor by Taylor Swift Perfume

Taylor Swift debuted her third perfume a few years ago called Taylor. I own her first perfume, Wonderstruck, which is a very sweet scent, smelling similar to berries and peach. Taylor’s new perfume feels like the grown-up version of her first fragrance: It possesses a sophisticated and ladylike elegance. They each have their own, distinct personality, so I love both of Taylor’s fragrances in their own way — and I use them frequently!

This newest scent is a very floral and fruity with wood notes in the base, which makes it smell very dynamic and refreshing. The fruity top notes of lychee, tangerine, and magnolia are combined with the floral middle notes of peony, vanilla, and hortensia. The scent is then topped off with a woody base of sandalwood apricot and cashmere musk. All of this combined makes for a beautiful, sophisticated, and elegant scent that is suitable for any occasion. I highly recommend this perfume due to its versatility. It works for special occasions and nighttime wear, yet it’s still suitable for a casual daytime ensemble.

The scent also has a great longevity. At the end of the day, I can still faintly smell it, which is a major plus for such an inexpensive perfume. The scent is quite strong, so make sure that you don’t spray too much on; you don’t want it to be overwhelming.

All in all, Taylor by Taylor Swift has definitely become one of my favorite perfumes! It is my go-to perfume for both school days and special events!

Taylor by Taylor Swift retails for $39.50 for 1.0 OZ or $49.50 for 1.7 OZ.
