Promises by Shiny Horo

I gave my heart away to you.
You promised to keep it safe.
Though the lies glittered in your eyes,
I still believed in you.
Your well manipulated actions, I knew them all.
But still something about your words had me bound.
Remember the night when we lied down under the endless starry sky?
You had said you were forever mine.
Now you’re gone with those deceiving kisses,
What’s left here are me and your empty promises.
