The champion receives a $2,000 scholarship. Second, third, and fourth place winners receive $1,000, $750, and $500 scholarships respectively. There have been winners from 13 different states, with a significant amount of champions from Arkansas.

The contest usually takes place in November and is associated with the World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest.
