If you are a US high school student thinking of attending college, then you need to know about Zinch.  Each week — yes, every single week — Zinch awards a $1,000 scholarship to a high school student through their weekly (we just can’t say that enough) “Three Sentence Essay” scholarship.

Zinch’s latest “Three Sentence Essay” challenge asked high school students to remodel Mount Rushmore to reflect people that are great in the modern era. The winner was Sarah Boudreau from St. Louis, and here is Sarah’s winning essay:

“My modern Mount Rushmore would be comprised of Walt Disney, Barack Obama, Steve Jobs and Oprah. These four people are all American and represent the change, power, grace, and kindness that is our country. They represent a modern America, a country where you can achieve anything.”
