The nonprofit organization Lava Mae had a brilliant idea: to convert old buses into mobile showers for the homeless. This bus drives around San Francisco to meet the homeless where they are, and we definitely need more of these buses in more cities.

As the spokeswoman in the video explains, the showers “deliver hygiene and dignity and a little bit of hope.”
