This video has been making the rounds recently — and for good reason. Basma Hameed has made great progress in the art of para-medical tattooing. This procedure essentially covers up scars by filling them in with a color that closely matches the person’s skin tone.

The beginning of this video features a 17-year-old girl who had boiling hot water thrown on her face by bullies, and now her face is covered in prominent scars from her burns. She is just one of the many people who Basma Hameed has been able to help so far, and she certainly won’t be the last.
