“This song is a rebellion in itself on how we so often find our place in society by just doing what we think we have to do. Because that momentum is driven by a part of our brain that tells us who we have to be, the days drag by as we just barely show up. Sometimes we find ourselves in a community that makes us lose our individuality even more.”

WASI blends the likes of Matt and Kim and Tegan and Sara to create a reminiscent soundtrack to those So Cal nights of skinny dipping and angsty-garage punk shows. They have recently shared the stage with Shiny Toy Guns, performed at the Northern and Southern California dates of the Vans Warped Tour, and had a successful residency at Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles. The riot pop trio (Cosmo, Jess, and Carlo) hone their fierce do-it-yourself mentality and uplifting beats as they combine their anthemic pop sound with a dance-fueled energy.
