One of the highlights of summer for me each year is the Bristol Renaissance Faire.

 

Each weekend in July through August, visitors can stroll among street performers, attend a joust, and shop the wares of period themed vendors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dressing up is half the fun!  From lords and ladies to peasants and vagabonds, everyone gets into the spirit of the faire.  You may even see a woodland nymph or two.
