Everyone has embarrassing childhood videos floating around, but no one has quite the goldmine that Ryan Gosling does. The former Mickey Mouse Club alumnus had quite the dancing career circa 1992, and it has mercifully been recorded for posterity’s sake and posted on YouTube.

This particular dance (yes, there are others) shows baby Ryan Gosling in MC Hammer pants shaking his groove thang surrounded by a female dance troupe. The best part is, he’s actually quite good and really into it. Whoever filmed it got some excellent close-up shots of his expression, and you can tell he thinks he’s some hot stuff. And, well, looking at him now as America’s heartthrob, we can’t even fault him for that.
