What Is Chronic Pain?

Chronic pain is something that millions of people struggle with daily, but almost no one talks about it. It’s usually defined as “any pain lasting more than 12 weeks. Whereas acute pain is a normal sensation that alerts us to possible injury, chronic pain is very different. Chronic pain persists — often for months or even longer.” It can last years, or even the span of someone’s entire life.

This video is a great resource to help people understand what living with chronic pain is really like.
