As you probably already know, YSL is not the most affordable brand out there. In fact, it is probably one of the most expensive ones. But are their products worth the insane price tags? To find out for myself, I tried out one of their lipsticks.
The lipstick I have is the YSL Rouge Volupté Shine in shade #19 Fuchsia in Rage. The color of this lipstick is just so unique, and I have never seen anything like it from other brands. In the bullet it may look a bit scary because it looks like a bright purple, but once it is applied to the lips, it transforms into a beautiful fuchsia-purple shade. It also applies like a dream. It just glides on so smoothly, and it is really moisturizing. Even though these lipsticks are supposed to be more sheer than other ones, I find it to be quite pigmented. If you really want to go all out, it is definitely enough to get a very bright and bold lip. And once it is on, it lasts for a really long time. Even after the shine wears off, you are still left with a beautiful purple stain. If you do not like 
constantly touching up your lipstick, this lipstick would be perfect for you.
So, is it worth the price? In my opinion, it is a definite yes! This lipstick is unlike any other lipstick I have ever tried, and even though it costs quite a lot, the quality is just amazing. Beautiful shade, great pigmentation, moisturizing, glossy finish, and really good longevity.
