Unbroken is one of the many movies that comes out on Christmas Day, and it is definitely going on my “must watch” list. This movie, directed by Angelina Jolie, is about the life of Louis Zamperini.

When I was very young, during one of the Olympic games, I remember my mom saying his name in awe as a camera found him in the crowd, announcing his attendance. My mom tried explaining who he was to me, but, of course, a moment later, I promptly forgot most of what she had said about him; ever since then, though, his name has been a familiar one.

I’ve been hearing parts of this movie trailer on the radio while driving these past few weeks, but I just sat down and actually watched the trailer for the very first time. And now, I am also in awe of Louis Zamperini. The information I heard on the radio browsed over the highlights of his unbelievable story, and the trailer has left me wanting so much more. If you haven’t already, watch the above trailer in order to see just a small glimpse of what a truly amazing man he was.
