Did you know that a group of professionals, educators, and enthusiasts for the advancement of the confectionery industry award a $5,000 scholarship to an individual interested in candy? Specifically, the American Association of Candy Technologists states that this student should demonstrate his or her interest in confectionery technology through academia or work experience. Applicants must attend a four-year college in North America and major in food science, chemical science, biological science, or a related science, according to AACT’s website.
