Sugarloaf Mountain

I took this on top of Mount Sugarloaf, Newcastle, Australia.

I climbed this mountain (when I say climb, I mean we drove and walked up some steps. It was not a very aggressive climb) with my sister and her boyfriend, so it wasn’t exactly a place I made my own kind of special. There was, however, a beautiful fence of padlocks dedicated to lost ones with the date of their death (there was even a woman who lived to be 100!) and some for anniversaries of people’s weddings. While I was up there, I made a little vow to come back there one day with my own Theodore Finch—someone I can make it special with. Maybe one day. Maybe we can hang a padlock on the fence for other wanderers to find.
